This week’s session happened shortly after the world found out that Kobe Bryant, his daughter, and seven other victims had died tragically in a helicopter crash. The program was fortunate to have Tenisha from Easels in Motion come by to help process the emotions of the day.
A lot of people don’t like seeing people help others cause that’s something they can’t relate too, so instead they hate. But when tragedy strikes our hearts we all seem to slow down, take a moment to reflect and then want to be caring and helping because we realize that TODAY isn’t promised.
Thank you Tenisha for coming through Sunday on a very emotional day for our 3rd week of 2nd WINd MENtors programs and bringing the art canvas for us to use painting as a mental health therapy and a place well we can relax, remember and reflect. Such a blessing for MENtee boys with her presence, & her wonderful gift of help with stress and mental health through artistic and creativity painting activities! Thank you!
Let the marathon continue and keep showing the world our message that helping heals the atmosphere!
